1. Due Week 8:
PROJECT WORK:
a. jQuery animations and transitions added to your pages as necessary. These might be best implemented on a contact form, but you can choose to add these wherever you feel they’d be best integrated into your site.
b. Select your decorative font for headings and your screen-based font for long chunks of text. Use Google Web Fonts or FontSquirrel as a helper.
c. Set up a section of your site that would have a gallery — fake it if this doesn’t apply. Setup a custom lightbox for your project according to Chapter 4, pp. 91 – 98 in jQuery Novice to Ninja
d. Read/review Chapter 4 – 5 in jQuery Novice to Ninja
2. Due Week 9:
PROJECT WORK:
a. You are to have a completed site by Week 9 for critiques and feedback. Week 9 will be a workshop session wherein all sites will be reviewed on-screen in front of class. We will spend 10 minutes per site.
b. Read Chapter 6 CAREFULLY in jQuery Novice to Ninja
c. AJAX demo in-class
3. Due Week 10:
a. Final exam — “cheat sheet” to follow – will take approximately 30 minutes to complete
b. Project workshop
4. Due Week 11:
a. Project presentations (in class, feedback and review on the big screen)
b. Turn in your entire AWS site in a ZIP folder to my teacher drive
