sp13 ArtC 3307.251 Interactive I syllabus


This course focuses on UX/UI design using the fundamental scripting languages of web publishing: HTML document markup and CSS styling. In this course, students will explore the history of web design and will learn valuable technical skills that provide the basis for advancement as an interaction designer. Students will explore current design trends and patterns, browser compatibility issues, and basic principles of information structure and navigation while foregrounding fundamental design concerns such as typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
